Our content is meant to help you learn. It’s a starting point for getting more out of your Google TV.
We’re Independent
GTV Tricks is run by independent writers and testers. We have no official relationship with Google, TV makers or the developers of the apps we cover.
Names like Google TV and Chromecast belong to their owners. We use them only to describe the devices and software our guides are about.
Guides Can Go Out of Date
Google TV changes often. A menu may move, an app may update, and a method that worked last month may not work today. We do our best to keep guides current, but we can’t guarantee that every detail is complete or still accurate.
Tinkering Is Your Call
Some of our tutorials ask you to change settings or install apps from outside the Play Store. If you follow them, you’re doing so by your own choice. GTV Tricks isn’t liable for lost data, device problems or any other trouble that follows.
We Don’t Host Content
We don’t store, supply or stream any movies, shows or other copyrighted material. When we mention a third-party app or service, we aren’t vouching for it or confirming that it’s legal where you live.
What We Ask of You
What you do with our guides is up to you. We simply ask that you:
- Look up the rules in your own country before using any app or service
- Stream and download responsibly
- Honor copyright and the rights of content creators
When You Leave Our Site
Some links take you to websites we don’t run. Once you’re there, their content, policies and security are out of our hands, so please review them before you share any information.
How We Keep the Lights On

Updates to This Page
We’ll revise this disclaimer when our site or policies change. If you keep using GTV Tricks after an update, that means you’re fine with the new version.
